Airlift 10th Day (10 Days) Box Office Collection: 2nd Weekend/Sunday Business Report

Airlift 10th Day Collection – Airlift 2nd Weekend/Sunday Box Office and Occupancy Report; First 100 Crore Club Movie: Airlift, a movie which was released on the eve of 67th Indian Republic Day and depicted the story of evacuation of over 1.5 Indian people from Kuwait has won the heart of audience and critics and is making huge collections at the box office. The lead star of the movie is Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur.

Akshay is seen in the movie playing the role of Ranjit Katyal, who is a very powerful businessman in Kuwait and later on, he turned up the hero and helps around 1.7 lakh Indian people to return home.

Airlift movie was released along with Tushar Kapoor’s Kya Kool Hai Hum 3, but it has completely beaten it in terms of occupancy report and box office collections.

After ruling for the first week at the box office, the movie Airlift continued its show in the second week as well, despite the fact that Sunny Leone’s Mastizaade and Madhwan’s Saala Khadoos were released in this week itself.

The movie has also became the first movie of the year 2016 to enter in the 100 crore club and it has become 4th movie for Akshay Kumar, which has earned more than 100 crore rupees at the domestic box office.

Akshay Kumar has really enjoyed the success of his film.

On the opening day of Airlift, the collections were rs. 12.35 crores, but it got increased in the weekend and the maximum crowd was witnessed on the eve of Republic day, when movie earned Rs. 17.8 crores.

The film has done exceptionally well at the overseas box office as well and has collected Rs. 24 crores (approx) till now.

On 2nd Saturday, Airlift collected Rs. 6.5 crores and on 2nd Sunday, the film saw more people coming and enjoying the movie.

Akshay Kumar and the team would be really happy with the film touching Rs 100 crores mark in 10 days of release. His last movie to cross 100 crore figure was Holiday (2014), which was really liked by the audience.

Akshay’s previous year’s movies like Baby, Gabbar is Back deserved to have good box office business, but unfortunately didn’t managed to do so.
