The 2010 winners of the ICC World T20, England has included one uncapped player in their side in the form of Liam Dawson who is a spinner and played county cricket for Hampshire. But the biggest surprise came when they decided not to include Kevin Pietersen and Stuart Broad in their side.

Dawson, who has performed really well in the series against Pakistan A has impressed the selectors and will be playing the 2 T20 matches against England coming this month so that his merits can be known to the world.
Their star bowler S Finn has also been included in the team who is currently not playing due to a side strain. The 15 man squad includes only 6 players who were a part of previous edition in Bangladesh in 2014 and only one player from this current team was a part of 2010 title winning team, captain Eoin Morgan himself.
The decision to not to include Kevin Pietersen in the side has been criticized by many Cricket legends and the fans of KP. He has performed exceptionally well in the South African Ram Slam and recently concluded BBL season. Stuart Broad has also not been selected in the side and he was also a part of 2010 winning team. He has not played any T20I since 2014.
The side includes Reece Topley and David Willey, who are the new ball bowlers in the limited-overs game for their team will visit India and will be accompanied by C Jordan and B Stokes. Stokes is currently in the form of his life and would like to make the most out of the upcoming tournament and want to make his nation win another ICC title.
