ICC World T20 2016 Updates – Dhoni Tells That Indian Team Can Win World T20: The World T20 is going to begin in a couple of weeks and the Asia Cup is starting from just 3 days from now and Indian Cricket team has reached the land of Bangladesh.

For the first time, the format of the Asia Cup has been changed from 50 over format to the 20 over format and a total of five teams are going to participate in the tournament. Before the tournament to begin, MS Dhoni, Indian limited overs skipper was attending a press conference in which he lost his cool over the question of his retirement plans before leaving for the Bangladesh.

In the past couple of months, Dhoni has been asked about his retirement plans many times and every time he has denied that he is retiring in the coming time.

He said that his answer on retirement is not going to change irrespective of where he is getting the question.

The skipper also said that he is confident that his team is capable to win the upcoming ICC World T20 which is going to be hosted by India for the first time. He is going to be the only captain who will lead his side for the straight 6th time in the World T20 championship. He was the leader of the time that won the inaugural World T20 in 2007 in South Africa. Last time, in 2014, they came very close to lift the trophy for the second time, but lost to Sri Lanka in the final.

On the chances of winning, he said, “I have the belief and also the talent as required to win a big tournament . Our team has all the ingredient. The important thing is to keep the team fit and at the same time, try to give as many games as all to individuals who are the part of the side. I feel if everybody gets the chance to play, it will be very good for us”.

He also said that he is hoping that fast bowler M Shami will be available for the World T20 as he is an important asset to the team.

Team India is going to begin their campaign of Asia Cup on 24th February as they will play their first game against the hosts, Bangladesh. They are currently also the number one ranked side in T20 rankings of ICC.
