London: Mr Prime Minister’s visit to Britain is not just perfused with excitement amongst the diaspora but also the officials, bureaucrats and yes the royalty themselves in Britain, is escorting much excitement from his trip.

Mr Modi on Friday, the second day of his visit to the country, had in store a lunch for him at the Buckingham palace hosted by Queen Elizabeth II, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was driven to the palace in a Jaguar- built by Jaguar Land Rover, while he was welcomed and greeted by the 89 -year-old Queen at the grand entrance. the two shook hands in honour and moved to perusal items from the royal collection taken out especially for the PM’S visit.

This accentuated lunch was held to convey the closeness of the ties between India and the UK. especially after the 9 Billion pounds deal signed between the two nations on Thursday as a beginning of a new era, which includes a nuclear pact, a decision to collaborate in defence, cyber security and launching a railway rupee bond in London.

On Friday, in the environment where the Prime Minister’s visit to the country has another addition of a lunch hosted by the Queen,  the royal officials took the fortuity and  declared Prince William and his wife will visit India next year.

This will be the royal couple’s first visit to India. “Their royal highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit India in the spring of 2016,” a statement from their Kensington Palace residence said, using their official titles. “Full details will be confirmed early next year.”

It will be Prince Williams second trip to India after 1992, when as a child he visited The Taj Mahal with his mother; the late princess Diana, it was the time when Prince Charles and her marriage was on the verge of a collapse.
