Rustom 3rd Day Collection, Rustom 1st Sunday Box Office Total 3 Days Report and Occupancy: The third of Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey’s collaboration-“Rustom” is successfully running all over screens, both domestic and overseas. The movie featuring Akshay Kumar, Ileana D’Cruz, and Esha Gupta is based on real life incident based on Nanavati crime case, which leads to end Jury system in India.

The opening day collection for the flick were Rs 14.11 crore. This movie is witnessing terrific response all over the globe. It was released with enormous buzz. As per the expectations, the movie managed to emerge as the 4th Highest opener of this year.

The movie didn’t get much response from the critics but due to the stardom and publicity, the viewers have favored the movie and make it a biggie of the year.

Previous two movies ”Special 26” and “Baby” were also directed by Neeraj Pandey but unfortunately, they failed to cross over 100 crores. “Special 26” made a lifetime collection of Rs 66.8 crores and “Baby” collected Rs 95.56 crores.

But the predictions for Rustom to hit the century are high. With the ongoing flow, it will surely make it to the mark. On its opening day, Rustom had an occupancy of about 50-55%, successfully dominating its adjacent movie.

The next day being Saturday, the biz surged, as usual, making Rs 16.43 crore on the second day of its release. The movie traded so well in overseas too. The excellent collection marks up to a total of Rs 8.30 crores in total for the overseas market.

On the third day of its release, Rustom witnessed the dynamite whooping collection of around Rs. 20.25 crores (counting)* with much larger occupancy in noon shows. This will make the whole weekend collection of fewer than Rs.50 crores.

There was tough competition as a big budget movie Mohenjo Daro was also released on the same date but Rustom managed to prove superior to Mohenjo Daro.

There was more screen occupancy around 60% as compared to Friday and Saturday. The most significant change was recorded in southern parts of India. North and Central India circuits being a fan of Khiladi Akshay Kumar were eagerly excited.

The collection of the movie will also get picked up with one more coming holiday. This movie is nowhere to slow down and is all set to be proved as the landmark for the career of Akshay Kumar. This will indeed break the jinx and the days of “Singh is King”. It is indeed a must one time watch thriller.
