The single theme track came in 2010 and was the theme song of FIFA World Cup 2010 that was played in South Africa. The song became a super hit and people loved it from all around the world. This theme song from the world cup has helped Shakira to became only the 3rd Latin artist to achieve this feat following Enrique Iglesias and Bruno Mars.

Only 2 days ago, Adele’s Hello became the fastest video to join the one billion club on Youtube and that took only 57 days.

However, the time taken by Waka Waka Song by Shakira took more than 5 years to achieve this feat.

The Colombian singer really got delighted after achieving the feat and expressed her happiness on micro-blogging site Twitter and tweeted, “Wow Waka Waka now has more than a billion views! The song and the video that changed my life”.
