He ordered the soldiers for the attack on Ashoka. Ashoka fought with soldiers and beats them. He also beats Nirankush badly. Kaurvaki was waiting for Ashoka in the jungle. Garud went to search him and Kaurvaki followed Garud.
Ashoka was fighting with the soldiers. Dhaniram got freed and asked to devi to ran from there. Devi refused to go and said she would not go to leave Chand there. A soldier tried to attack Ashoka from behind him but Kaurvaki hit him.
Ashoka said to Kaurvaki to go from there but she refused and fought with the soldiers. Dhaniram ran in other direction and soldiers followed him. Devi and Kauravki hide behind a tree. She thanked Kaurvaki for saving her and asked her how she knows Chand.
Kaurvaki said she knows Ashoka only. Devi said it means Chand was Ashoka. Kaurvaki said yes, he was Ashoka. Devi recalled the time when the royal family stays in their house. They saw Jagannath was doing pooja for the soul of her daughter. Kaurvaki got shocked to saw it.
