So, the release date has been out for season 2. The show is going to premiere on May 8, 2020. Get ready for twists and turns, it is coming to your screens very soon. Now, coming to the coronavirus pandemic rumors about the series. Some sources are speculating that season 2 is going to delay for some months due to lock-down in certain regions.
But the truth is there’s no announcement from the creators for the delay and above all they recently released the trailer. The trailer, in most cases, releases a few days before the scheduled date of the first episode.

Dead to Me Season 2 Plot
If you have watched the cliffhanger episode, you must have seen that Judy’s ex-fiancé Steve is dead. Jen and Judy were on the dead body such that the scene is trying to convey that this murder has been done by Jen.
But there is no clarity of the scene that the murder has been done by Jen or not. There must be some flashback story behind the mystery which might open in the second season.
That scene was created for the fans to wait for the next episode and complete the story. The creators of the series are smart enough and they know how to keep the audience engaged.
One more cliffhanger was the uncovering of the fact that Jen’s new friend was the responsible person for the death of Judy’s husband. Her husband’s death case was some hit-and-run situation.
Now, the question is how would Judy react to this? What will she do after knowing the truth? These are the questions for which, we have to wait for the premiere.
Felman told The Hollywood Reporter, “There’s an evening of the score and there’s a rebalancing that will take place and almost, in some ways, a role reversal.”
“This show will always be a show that explores the dark sides and the light sides of grief, loss, forgiveness, and friendship. So suffice to say, there will be more darkness.”
