Dilwale 17th Day Collection
The movie is filled with action, comedy, romance, all in one in Rohit Shetty style, which is his trademark too. But the movie has got a dull plot which makes the audience go bore in certain parts of the film.
The talkie received huge advance bookings for its opening weekend from 18th December to 20th December and on the opening day of release, the film collected Rs. 21 crores which were a very good amount as Dilwale faced a tough competition from Bajirao Mastani, which was released on the same day.
Apparently, the movie also faced lots of protest in many parts of the country including Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra due to some comments made by Shahrukh Khan on the topic of intolerance in the country.
The film had collected a total of Rs. 65.1 crores in its first week but later than, the film slowed down at the boxoffice and after 10 days, the total collection of Dilwale was only Rs. 124 crores at the box office.

However, the performance of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol as an actor and as a couple in the movie was highly praised by the critics and fans loved them after watching them once again on the screen. The last time, Shahrukh-Kajol pair was seen in My Name Is Khan (2010).
The film has managed to do excellent work at the overseas and has collected more than Rs. 100 crores from various parts of the world.
Produced under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment, it is expected that the flick will do a decent collection at the boxoffice as the box office will witness no major release in the first week of 2016.
The expected collection of Dilwale has been predicted around Rs. 180 crores.
