Reports state that soon after the release of the latest update, Motorola would schedule this Android 7.0 firmware for a series of handsets. We should not forget that it was one of the first smartphone manufacturers to offer Android 6.0 Marshmallow last year.
Google, who owns Android, has released a preview or beta version of ‘Nougat’ for developers to support making it a better experience for users, however, the update is not yet officially announced to the public. According to some sources, the final version of Android 7.0 will be unveiled by the end of this summer and with the release of HTC Nexus Sailfish and the Nexus 6P successor.
Reports suggest that Android Nougat firmware will be made available with arrays of Motorola handsets such as Moto Z, Moto Z Force, Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus, Moto X Play and Moto X Style.
