Kingdom Season 3: We all know by now that Korean Dramas are now gaining worldwide fame. One of the shows to gain that popularity is the ‘Kingdom’. This political drama series is written by Kim Eun-Hee. It revolves around a zombie attack and a prince trying to investigate it and find out the reason behind it.

Kingdom, initially, released its first season in 2019, and its second installment in 2020. We were expecting its next season in early 2021. However, with the delays in shootings have led us to believe that it won’t be in early 2021. (check: Fast and Furious 9 (F9) Release Date Delay: Trailer, Cast, and Everything Else So Far.)

As of now, Netflix has not released any news on the third season. However, its writer Kim Eun-Hee said that the renewal depends on the success of season 2. He also mentioned that if everyone supports and loves the show they might continue making it.

We might have to wait for the official announcement but if the show gets approved for another installment we might have to wait for the show for a little longer as Netflix original has halted all their productions at the moment. So, the release date may be delayed.

What will be the plot for Kingdom season 3?

Kingdom is adapted from a webcomic series “The Kingdom Of Gods”. In the last installment, we saw how the prince was able to conquer the zombie attack. We expect that season 3 will likely pick from where the second chapter left off. We can expect some developments and some revelations.

It will pick up after seven years and three months after the initial zombie attack. Future events will be affected by the mysterious plant seller. However, we don’t know her exact role. It remains to be seen what exactly the character of Jun Ji Hyun wants to do. Is she trying to spread zombie-ism to eventually conquer a weak nation?

The new Prince will be featured in the upcoming chapter of the series. He didn’t turn into a zombie when he was a baby as babies are immune to the culprit worms. But now, he is all grown up. One parasite was left off inside his brain that seems to have moved up. This is an unusual case. It will be interesting to see how this will affect him. Will he transform in some kind of zombie-human hybrid?

Where can we watch the Kingdom season 3 trailer?

Most probably the trailer might take a long time since the shooting is also at a halt. Although Netflix has not confirmed the Season 3, fans are pretty confident that the third installment will be renewed as Netflix renewed the show for second installment right when the first was released so we can expect the news to be out soon about season three. However, if it gets approved, the shooting may start after a while.
