Narendra Modi Speech HT Summit-

On Friday Prime Minister Modi taking out time from the Parliament was seen attending the HT  Leadership Summit “Towards a Brighter India”, opened up about many small level reforms that have been coming up but not talked about.

He said, “ when the world economy is slowing down… Going by statistics, we can say that India is moving at a steady pace towards a shining future,”.

The world now is saying that India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world while he also claimed that ‘India won’t progress from Delhi, states have the most important role, Therefore, states must work with the centre towards a collective progress’.

He claimed that the world should know the power of each state of the Indian nation, saying that until now it was the centre’s decision to see where the state would spend the money while now the chief ministers of respective states collaborating with its people decide where the money needs to be spent in whole.

“We want to foster contacts between leaders of other countries and our states”, for the first time we have tried to join the states to the global world.- Prime Minister said.

In the ‘Ease of doing bussiness’ the states which were expected not to do well, such as Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Odisha are now proving themselves working upon the USP each state has as India is beyond metropolitan cities.

 

Over the fear of moratorium in the Parliament Modi with a laugh said, ‘Parliament is working now. This is a good news. The credit does not go to PM Modi but to all the parties’.

He said instead of making headlines by taking in importing sources of electricity, he has done smaller work by signing a MoU with 100 cities, for changing streetlights with the LED lights, hence it will eventually save 21,500 MW electricity. Work for 20 cities is already done, rest are in progress.

He also explained about the ‘Rupee Bond’, exclaiming that many have not even understood what it is about.

While, He proudly talked about the growing mentality of a nation where 40 lakh families gave up on their subsidies, which were eventually given to the poor in the country.

He also made a point that he is trying to give power to the eastern states of the country.Development of India’s eastern part cannot be ignored.
