Obi worldphone SF1: to be launched in India this month-
New Delhi: Obi Worldphones formerly known as Obi Mobiles, founded by former Apple Inc. and PepsiCo CEO – John Sculley along with Obi CEO Neeraj Chauhan (who run IT and Telecom Distribution Companies has been working with John Sculley since 2007) they partnered with San Francisco-based design studio Ammunition, which was founded by the former director of industrial design for Apple Computer, Robert Brunner last year.
The Silicon Valley smartphone manufacturers launched its establishing low-cost smartphones on 27 August 2015.
The company is now planning to reach the emerging Indian Market sometime this month (Launch date yet to be declared by the company), with the Obi SF1 smartphone to be Priced around 15,000.

“Obi Worldphone SF1 is set apart by iconic industrial design complimented with the Obi Lifespeed, a custom user interface for Android that unifies the software and hardware experience.” says the company.
The company will have to compete with already set market of the smartphones like Xiomi Mi 4i, Asus Zenfone 2, Moto G (3rd Generation) and OnePlus X.
With two of its affordable Android smartphone SF1 and SJ1.5 , Obi worldphone has decided to step up with only one of its product in Indian market.
