Co-Creator Josh Pate revealed that Netflix has given them a green signal to work on the script for the second season. Looks like we may see the second installment. So, let’s find out more about what is in store for us.

What Happened In Season 1?

In the first installment, we saw how John B and Sarah survived the storm. However, the Carolina islanders thought that the duo had died in the storm like every other seafarer. Although before John B disappeared, he ratted out Ward Cameron. He told the police that Ward Cameron killed his father and Rafe Killed Sherriff Peterkin.

What will happen in Outer Banks season 2? Plot

Given the way season one ended, we may see what happens after John B and Sarah are rescued. Their next destination is the Bahamas and the duo will be trailed by more people once they start learning about the treasure. Not only that they will also have to hunt Gold’s location and go through every measure that Ward has kept to make sure the treasure is safe.

Ward may have to do some serious explanation about the allegations made against him. Although it will be interesting to see how seriously police will take the allegations John B made. We also hope to see the Pogues finally find the treasure they have been looking for. Nonetheless, there will be some interesting twists and turns during the discovery.
