Halo TV series release date, trailer, cast, plot and everything we know so far

Halo tv-series, another video game adaptation finally have some news after years of development. Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television has covered the production and it is all set to air on Showtime.

It is going to be an epic tv show and there’s already a big fan base of the game which will let it help for stunning viewership. We will see Master Chef as a central character and along with Spartans & Cortana, it has the potential to perform outstandingly.

Halo TV series release date: When will the new series premiere?

The filming has already begun back in winter 2019 which means the series has the official confirmation. But the creators haven’t revealed any release date for the fans to set a reminder.

It may be due to the tough times COVID-19 pandemic, the series is getting delay. However, the creators haven’t said anything about the delay instead they said that the show is going to release in the first quarter of 2021. Halo TV series plot: What to expect from the story?

Right now, the creators haven’t revealed anything about the plot. But it has been crafted out of the war with the Covenant and the Halo space stations. The 343 head of transmedia, Kiki Wolfkill once revealed that the show will be a blend of something new along with the expectations of the fans.

Halo TV series cast: Who will be starring?

Well, most star appearances are confirmed officially and the majority of them are well-known celebrities. And yes, we are going to see Master Chief’s character in the lead role and others are discussed below:

• Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief: If you watched the famous tv show, ‘Orange Is The New Black‘ then you can easily figure out who Pablo is. In this series, the role of Master Chief, the game icon has been finalized for him. Though in-game, this character never showed his face, the face will be shown in the tv series only if he removes his helmet in a certain scene.
• Danny Sapani as Captain Jacob Keys: He is also from well know tv dramas, ‘Harlots‘ and ‘Penny Dreadful‘. Captain Jacob is the character who was there in the very first game, so he will also be featured in the show.
• Charlie Murphy as Makee: Another popular American actor who worked in ‘Peaky Blinders‘ and ‘Happy Valley‘ will appear as Makee, he is a character who is seen in Halo 2 and Halo 3. His descriptions read, “a brilliant UNSC Commander who is dedicated to understanding the technology, language and culture of the Covenant, but she’ll have to learn to navigate the politics of the UNSC to get what she wants.”
• Natasha McElhone: Well, she will be playing two roles in the series. The first one is Dr. Catherine Halsey, the scientist who is the maker of the SPARTAN program. And the second one is Cortana, an advanced AI.
• Olive Gray as Dr. Miranda Keyes: The actress from the dark drama, ‘Dark Money’ and ‘Sex Education‘ will appear as Dr. Miranda from Halo 2 and Halo 3. She is described as “a brilliant UNSC Commander who is dedicated to understanding the technology, language and culture of the Covenant, but she’ll have to learn to navigate the politics of the UNSC to get what she wants.”
• Bookem Woodbine as Soren-066
• Shabani Azmi as Admiral Margaret Parangosky
• Bentley Kalu as Spartan Vannak-134
• Natasha Culzac as Spartan Riz-028
• Kate Kennedy as Spartan Kai-125
