Afghanistan Earthquake: of 5. 9 magnitude jolts region of Kabul, Islamabad, New Delhi
In respect to the Indian Standard time 2320 hours on Sunday night on 22 November 2015 , the North of Pakistan including in Peshawar, Islamabad, Hunza, Skardu, Gilgit and few other parts of Pakistan was jolted with an earthquake. Lating for almost a good 30 seconds scared everyone for their lives.
An earthquake of 5.9 intensity on Richter scale as suggested by USGS (United States Geological Survey) had the epicentre of the earthquake, was 22km SSW of Ashkasham, Afghanistan and 28km (18mi) SSW of Ishkashim, Tajikistan with a depth of 92.4 km inside the earth.

This is for the second time in a month that an earthquake was generated from the same place. As Reported, This earthquake is being considered as shallow as the depth of the earthquake was less. While the aftershocks were generated from the Chitral valley.

While the Tremors were felt in Indian regions of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Delhi, also in regions of Tajikistan and Indonesia.

While the quake last month on 26 October, measuring 7.5 on the Richter scale with Jarm, Afghanistan as the epicentre, took lives of over 300 people. Leading to mass destruction rendering thousand’s homeless.
