Brahmotsavam 2nd Day Collection, Brahmotsavam 1st Saturday Box Office Total 2 Days Report and Occupancy: Mahesh Babu’s and Prasad V Potluri joint venture “Brahmotsavam” not able to fill in the shoes expected form it. Released in over 900 screens in two states, this Telugu production was not able to dominate the Andhra and Telangana (AP/T) BO.

The flick was expected to fume the old records, seeing the fantasy among fans. The advance bookings and the prophecy of trade experts showed the movie to boom on the opening day at the box office and so were the additional slots arranged by the exhibitors for the release.
But the same turned out to be futile as a wave of bad words of mouth and negative prospect hit the Telugu movie and movie was not able to break a leg. Struggling through the not so good reviews, the movie earned 12.7 crores on its opening day which is minute if compared to the number of screens it was released on.
The first-day collection of “Brahmotsavam” was not able to break the first day AP/T BO record of “SARDAR GABBAR SINGH” produced by Pawan Kalyan’s, which grabbed 26.6 crores on the opening day.
Though the film’s reviews are negative mostly but still seeing the occupancy and Mahesh Babu’s dominance as a producer, the movie is expected to make around 11 crores from the second-day collection making a total of around 23 crores from both days.
However being a story of a responsible and lovable son, the movie is expected to lure the much social people of the society including families and old age audience giving hope to the investors to redeem their investment of the flick.

“Brahmotsavam” – directed and written by Srikanth Addala. It is a joint production by Mahesh Babu and Prasad V Potluri. Lead female characters in the movie are Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, and Pranitha whereas Jayasudha, Revathi, Saranya Ponvannan, Tanikella Bharani and some others forms the rest of cast team.
