Sushim said why he was bearing Bindu, he would kill him. Charu said to him that he could not do that because citizens were not with them. She said firstly, control the army and on citizens.
Ashoka was laid on the bed where Dhaniram’s Papad were kept by him. Dhaniram said his Papad were going now. Bindu asked Sushim how he could do this. How could he put the burden on people? Sushim got angry but Charu signed him to control his anger.
He said he did a mistake. He said Mahamatya had suggested him for this. Bindu said to Mahamatya that he was going to lose his sense as his old age. Bindu said to announce to take back the tax and he left from there. Sushim saw the throne and thought where was his loved brother Ashoka?

Ashoka took Kaurvaki’s name in the sleep. Devi heard it and asked to Dharma who was Kaurvaki? Dharma said to her that Ashoka could say anything after drinking the alcohol. Kaurvaki went to the same temple where she had gone with Ashoka before 10 years.
She prayed to Devi and said when she would find Ashoka? She said she could not live without him. Pundit said to her that she would find him soon. He said to her to pray in the temple of lord Shiva after 4 days and she would fulfill her wish. Bela thanked to pundit and said Kaurvaki would pray there.
The laborers saw Lord Ganesha’s idol on the stone and refused to break it. The peasant came and said to them to break it. They refused to do it. Nand told to peasant that only one person could break it for money.
The peasant sent Nand to call that person. Nand reached to Dhaniram’s house and told to Ashoka everything. He became ready to go there. Dharma got angry. Sushim was angry to Bindu. Mahamatya said to him that he had full faith that Ashoka would be in Ujjain.
Sushim said he had already given instruction to his friends to search for him there. The laborers requested to Ashoka to not break the idol. He was walking for breaking the stone but he recalled Dharma and her words.
He stopped and said neither he would break it nor would he let anyone to break it. The peasant tried to hit him with his whip but Ashoka holds his whip and pulled him. Ashoka beats the peasant (Kalia) and his men. Nand got shocked but the laborers were happy to see it. Ashoka broke his golden tooth.
