Noted yesteryear Tamil film chief cum-lyricist and maker K S Gopalakrishnan passed away in a private healing center here this evening.
He was 86 and is made due by six children. His wife had predeceased him.
“He had mucus and was admitted to a private healing facility. He passed away today evening time,” his child K S G Venkatesh told PTI.
The memorial service will occur on tomorrow here, he said.

Credited for presenting top star of yesteryear on-screen character K R Vijaya (film Karpagam 1963), Gopalakrishnan was likewise surely understood as a lyricist and story and dialog author.
The super hit yesteryear tune “unnazhagai kanniyargal (uthama puthiran)” was penned by him.
