Veterans Day 2015: Significance, History, What Is It and Why Is It Celebrated?: Veteran Day is an important day and it is organized every year to honor American veterans of all the wars. It is for the armed people who have served the nation.
The armistice day was first proclaimed by the U.S President Woodraw Wilson.It is to honor each and every soldier in personnel in order to make him feel that he is a part of the nation and has done for the country, needs to be respected as it is not as simple as it thinks. It needs a lot of hard work both on the physical part as well as mental part. One has to go under the-the limits of his ones self. It requires a rigorous amount of testing and patience on one’s side. Not everyone and anyone can do it. It is a matter of mind over matter. If it does not mind it does not matter.

Armistice Day is an attempt to fill those brave soldiers and their beloveds in a solemn pride and feel proud of the heroic acts of the soldiers and the ones who have sacrificed their lives for the victory of the nation. It is because of them the rest of population enjoys freedom. An empathetic attempt on the part of America, for the peace and justice it celebrates it on every 11 Nov each year.

The president of United states is requested to reissue a proclamation calling upon the officials to wave the flag of United states on all the official buildings, especially on 11th November, and is asked to encourage the people of U.S to observe this day in schools, churches and other places with respective ceremonies for harmony.
On the 11th on November the “Veterans Day” originated from the so-called “Armistice Day”. Its first anniversary was held at the end of the World War I. On this day, America gives tribute to all American service members living or dead who sacrificed their lives and served their country.
