The amazing chemistry of the lead actor and actress made it a perfect entertainer for the urban areas audiences.
Check: Kumkum Bhagya 8th April 2016.
The 7 days total business of the movie is Rs. 37.57 Cr as per the tweet of box office analyst Taran Adarsh, “#KiAndKa Fri 7.30 cr, Sat 8.41 cr, Sun 9.52 cr, Mon 3.54 cr, Tue 3.30 cr, Wed 2.82 cr, Thu 2.68 cr. Total: ₹ 37.57 cr. India biz. GOOD!”
The theatrical run during the weekdays of the week was steady with average per day collection of approximately 3 Cr. It has got the status of third highest one week grosser of the year preceded by Akshay Kumar’s “Airlift” and Alia Bhatt starrer “Kapoor and Sons”. Not only this, it has become the 5th highest grosser of 2016 and now set to shatter the lifetime business of Amitabh Bachchan’s “Wazir”.
Directed by R.Balki, the movie is getting positive audience responses and words of mouth made the filmmakers happier and wishing it to gain more from the worldwide market. If the viewers are supporting the film, then it could go with the same statistics this week until the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s “Fan”.
This year, the brother and sister are ruling the box office, Sonam Kapoor’s “Neerja” had just completed its 50 days of happy release and still running in some of the cinema halls of the country. Now, the screen count is very much limited which would not make a considerable collection.
Kareen Kapoor Khan’s husband, Saif Ali Khan had really appreciated her work and the new idea to bring in the Bollywood industry. The movie expected just to target the urban regions of the country. But it is getting many good responses from the other parts of India also.
