Madaari 6th Day Collection, Madari 1st Wednesday Box Office Total 6 Days Report and Occupancy: “Madaari”, a social-thriller directed by Nishikant Kamat, ran into screens on 22nd July, in over 1,000 screens. With the launch being in the midst of biggies like Sultan and Kabali, the initial start was low.

The total collection for the weekend account for Rs 16.15 crore. After having a low opening of just Rs 4.45 crore at Indian market, the flick biz paced up the very next day making Rs 6.50 crore at the domestic Box-office.
Later on the final day of its first weekend, it made Rs 5.20 crore sliding a bit lower. Thus it total was Rs 16.15 crore as per the confirmed stats. It also made around Rs 4.4 crore abroad, thus making a handsome total of Rs 20.55 crore at the world market.
Later the confirmed stats are yet to arrive for the latter days, but the following are the predictions. Being a week day, a drop is gradual, and the flick is expected to mint around Rs 2 crore, cumulative of both Monday and Tuesday.

As of today, the earnings are expected to touch reach Rs 1 crore on Wednesday, 6th day post its release. Madaari’s main lead Irrfan Khan is a renowned actor for long. He has been known for his expertise in his performing at the various role being thrown at him. In this chapter also, his hard work is eminent.
As the theme of the flick centres on the corrupt and damaged functionality of the government, Irrfan Khan is said to have personally interview some of the ministers to closely understand the working, thereby serving the audience with the truth.
In an interview, Irrfan said, that he aims to entertain his audience by his flick, not to mint money. Though this approach is good as far as an actor is concerned, it is quite shaky for the makers.
Not associated with much of marketing and promotion, yet the flick is luring appreciable numbers into the theatres. All the viewers are contented to watch the power packed performance of Irrfan Khan. Even government officials have seen the movie.
With the positive word of mouth spreading, the flick will survive the week, hoping good returns coming weekend. Even Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, appreciated the flick, saying it to be a must watch.
The flick has been produced under the banner of Paramhans Creations and Saptarishi Cienvision,with the distribution house being Pooja Entertainment and Films. The flick was filmed in the states of New Delhi, Rajasthan, Dehradun, Shimla and Mumbai.
It features Irrfan Khan as Nirmal Kumar, playing the role of lead antagonist, thus making government dance on his wishes. The whole action-drama is too entertaining and a good watch.
