The veteran leader who served as home minister from 1998 to 2004, was awarded a Padma Vibhushan this prior year, is receiving wishes from all over the country. Prime Minister Modi early this morning took this opportunity to share his feelings for the leader through a tweet, which read:
“Warmest birthday greetings to our guide & inspiration, the respected Shri LK Advani ji. I wish Advani ji a long life filled with the best health. “His contribution to the country is invaluable. He has always been respected as a person of immense knowledge & integrity,” Modi tweeted while hailing the former deputy PM.
“Personally, I have learnt so much from Advani ji. For Karyakartas like us, he is the best teacher & the epitome of selfless service,” the Prime Minister said in another tweet.
Later in the morning, the prime minister covered in shawl visited leader giving him a beautiful bouquet.
