Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (PRDP) First Day Box Office Collection: Opening Report: Salman Khan’s “PRDP” is doing as per the expectations of the makers. The movie opened with a big bumper in India as well as overseas box office.
“PRDP” has started making history by breaking previous records only with morning shows. The report from Noida circuit says that the movie has surpassed the records of “Kick”, “Happy New Year”, “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, and “PK” as per the box office India records.
At big multiplexes and single screens, the occupancy for the morning shows exceeds 90% across India for the first day of release and the same will increase more till the end of the day. Last year, “Happy New Year” starring Shah Rukh Khan was out the day after Diwali which had some similar occupancy stats of that of PRDP and successfully collected Rs. 44 Cr on the first day.

As per the sources, the film is out on over 4500 domestic screens and around 1100+ screens in different parts of the world which result in a total of 5600+ screens worldwide. The number of screens for PRDP is higher than that for Shah Rukh Khan’s “Happy New Year”.
The filmmakers have the expectation for “PRDP” to become the highest opener of all the time and this might happen and will be revealed tomorrow.
