Premier Futsal 2016: Schedule, Match Time in IST – League started on 15th July

Premier Futsal 2016: The 2016 Premier Futsal league is the inaugural season of the Premier Futsal. The league will forecast some of the top known footballers with some real good talent playing against, rubbing shoulders with some of the leading futsaller in the world.

The franchise of the Futsal League features six teams with each given a chance to play four matches before the game heads on to the finals. The league was inaugurated on 15th July and the final of the leg will be played on 24th July 2016.

The six teams participating in the 2016 Futsal league are Bengaluru with Paul Scholes, Chennai with Falcao and Goa with Ronaldinho as the Marquee Players. Other teams are namely Kochi with Michel Salgado, Kolkata with Hernan Crespo and lastly Mumbai with Ryan Giggs.

The league is hyped to be the world’s first of its type that is being the multi-national league and the same was kicked off on Friday with the opening match between Falcao’s Chennai 5’s go and Giggs’ Mumbai 5’s.  Later the second match of the day was between the Ronaldinho’s Goa 5’s vs. Hernan Crespo’s Kolkata 5’s.

Out of the six teams, Kochi, Mumbai and Chennai constitute the Group A whereas the latter three namely Kolkata, Goa and Bengaluru constitute the group B of the Futsal League 2016.

The matches played with add on point to the table. The wins will add more points to the tally. After all the teams are done with four matches, the teams on the lower slots will be knocked out.

Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, along with Peddem Sports Complex of Mapusa, Goa fare the stadiums where the whole 2016 leg will be played out.

After the teams are done with the knockout stage, the teams who remain will play semi-finals. The semi-finals will be played on 23rd July 2016 in Goa between Winner of Group A and Runner-up of Group B. Second semi-final match will be vice-versa, with Winner of Group B competing against the runner-up of Group A.

Later the winner of semi-finals will play the finals. The Finals of the Futsal 2016 league is scheduled for 24th July. The finals with being played at the Peddem Sports Complex, Goa.

A total number of 15 matches are scheduled for this 2016 Premiere Futsal League, with the 15th match being the Finals of the league.
