“Rustom” is Akshay Kumar’s third one this year, after Airlift and Housefull 3. As the fans are eagerly waiting for the flick, the trailer left them dazed with goose bumps to settle.
The trailer showed Akshay Kumar in the Navy Uniform, a dapper look. He portrays the role of Naval Officer named Rustom Parvi, a man of honour, discipline and courage. The story line is based on the real-life incidents of Naval Officer KM Nanavati, convicted and tried for the murder of his wife Sylvia’s lover. The incidents, in reality, lured a lot of media coverage, at the time of its happening.
Rustom is set to release on Aug 12, alongside the Hrithik Roshan Mohenjo Daro. Rustom is the Indian crime-mystery movie directed by Suresh Desai.

After the trailer of the flick hit the screens, it soon gaped for the appreciation and success at the Box Office. Its final trailer was liked by most of the fans, adding more to the excitement they have for the flick, making them more restless.
Many of the trade experts have even predicted that Rustom would make a good opening at the Box Office. Thereafter, the flick is expected to earn more than Rs 100 crore, though any sure shot predictions can’t be made at the moment.
Although the hits trailer got, predict a good response from the audience on the opening day, but Rustom will face a tough competition from the Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro.
The main lead, Akshay Kumar is quite sure that his franchise Rustom too, will enter the Rs 100 crore club, much likely his earlier ones. If the same happens, Akshay Kumar will become one of the most successful actors for the year 2016.
The set for Rustom is of the times of 1960’s, thus budget for the flick is low around Rs 50 crore which might prove favourable for its makers when compared to the budget of Mohenjo Daro which is around Rs 100 crore.
It will be too early to predict the opening day collection for the flick, and also which movie will dominate at the Box Office. Both the actors have a huge fan base, amidst which the moviegoers will choose on Aug 12.
The leads have spent some decent time doing promotions for the flick. Both the actors showed respect, promoting each other’s movie via their tweets. The days after the release will witness some good tussle between two flicks at the BO. At last, all depends on what the audience will love.
