Salman Khan: Mumbai High Court Gives The Actor A Clean Chit In The Hit-And-Run Case
The Bombay High Court on Thursday exonerated the Bollywood star Salman Khan from all criminal charges in the 13-year-old Hit-and-run case.
Salman who is busy shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Sultan’ appeared in the court on Thursday with sister Alvira, before justice A R Joshi, who concluded and adjudicated on the retrial.

The actor on may 6 this year knocked the doors of Bombay high court , against a judgement made by the Mumbai sessions court, which in its proceedings gave the actor a five-year long sentence for culpable Homicide when he drove over and killed a man sleeping on a pavement, The actor was assumed to be drunk then. The actor ever since has been out on a bail, after being granted bail from the Bombay High Court on the very same day.
Such a decision has been taken in under the “unexplained and glaring anomalies” of the evidence by the Prosecution against the actor. The High court reprimanded that the prosecution could not prove that the actor was drinking and moreover driving the vehicle on the accident night, saying that the prosecution has failed to produce before the court a connecting chain of events.
The hight court questioning the reliability of the key evidence -including the testimony from a policeman who has since died.
While Initially, the Lower court believed that the actor was driving under the influence of alcohol, while the High court’s judgement is a completely new twist in the story.

The prosecution is planning to challenge with verdict at the supreme court.
