The Salman Khan, Anushka Sharma starrer is expected to run till 5 weeks from its initial release and it’s a long way to go. No popular release is scheduled in next 2 upcoming weeks, it can potentially help Sultan to maintain a steady business and threaten the biggies of the Box Offices.

By the end of the 2nd weekend, Sultan successfully garnered Rs 260+ Crore which is a decent collection despite being leaked online 2 days before it was officially out. However, public had already booked their tickets, around Rs 18 Crore came from pre-bookings.

Sultan’s story is the comeback of an indigenous wrestler who once become arrogant about his skills after winning few consecutive international world wrestling championships. His wife Aarfa (Anushka Sharma) breaks-up with him as she considers him to be the reason for Aman (their son) death.

Before making his comeback in this industry, he used to collection donations from his fellows to start a blood-bank as if there used to be one in the village, it could have saved the life of their son. Also, he thinks, doing so would get Aarfa back to him.

In-between the lifelines of Aarfa & Sultan, enters the business-man who brought wrestling to India and he tries to bring Sultan back to the ring to fight foreign or white fighters. He respects the ideology of Sultan and signs a deal for Rs 10 Lakh per fight which will kick-start the blood-bank project soon as possible.

Overall, the flick offers intense emotional drama, fighting sequences and shows who is truly a sportsperson in life. In addition, Salman is better known for entertaining us with his style and energy, this is no exception.

We get to experience a good amount of laughter throughout the entire flick, at moments you would be jumping out of your seats. The innocence in Salman’s accent speaking Haryanvi is definitely worth watching once.

Sultan 12th Day Collection (2nd weekend) collection was Rs 13.4 Crore and temporarily* stands on the fourth position in the BO charts. Temporarily because the competition now are Aamir Khan’s PK + Dhoom 3 and Salman’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Sultan is expected to break the lifetime gross record of Dhoom 3 by today which was Rs 271.82 Crore.

The journey from here onwards would be little tough in terms of business. As it is entering into the 2nd week with no official holidays declared this week, however, Sultan would still be the option for entertainment for the audience as no other popular flicks release this week.

Sultan 13th Day Collection is expected to be around Rs 7-8 Crore and the occupancy recorded in both single screens and multiplexes cinemas is around 10-15%.
