*Sultan 15th / 16th Day Collection, Sultan 3rd Wednesday / Thursday Box Office Total 15 Days Report and Occupancy: Already the highest grosser of 2016; Will Sultan be the #1 Grosser Bollywood Film ever? The movie released in theatres on 6th July 2016, a day before Eid was celebrated. The flick recently completed its 2nd weekend run by collection Rs 31.04 Crore and entered into the 2nd week. It is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films.

The Salman-Anushka starred received positive words of mouth from audiences and critics also acclaimed the overall composition of Sultan. Though I have to say this but the dialogues written by Ali were backed up splendidly by Salman Khan. His Haryanvi accent was really funny.
The film was produced on a budget of Rs 90 Crores and all the money was recovered by its 3 days collections which were over Rs 100 Cr. The film surpassed the expectations of the filmmakers, trade analysts and surprised the industry making the record of collection Rs 200 Cr by the end of its 1st Week.
It still has a lot of potential lefts to attract traffic to theatres and entertain them till their stomach starts aching. The audience is appreciating the performance and body work of Salman since the day 1, he has to put on and lose weight twice in the movie. Salman’s fighting sequences are breath-taking, some of them will definitely give you goosebumps and make you think repeatedly about the finisher move of Sultan.
Sultan 15th Day Collection
Recently, Sultan set-up a record by collecting Rs 500+ Cr worldwide in the shortest span possible, surpassing Aamir Khan’s PK which reached this mark by 14th Day while Salman’s starrer did it in 12 days. It is also the highest Rs 250+ Crore grosser ever in Bollywood history (record set-up last weekend).
As the film entered into 2nd week, we are expecting to see the earnings go down day by day and then take a hike in the 3rd weekend. Though the collection will not face an exponential downfall, but it should be considerable. For example, the collections on last Sunday was Rs 14.3 Crore while the next day, on 2nd Monday, it went down to Rs 8.09 Crore. Such numbers can be handled.
The total collection till 13th Day stands at 260.60 Crore from domestic box offices alone. If the stat remains similar to these, we can imagine Sultan as #1 Highest Lifetime Grosser ever, and that is not a hard target to achieve. And the flick garnered more than 130+ from international markets including Pakistan, Australia, Canada, America and rest of the world. Tables have been turned by Sultan and there are few ones left to be turned and demolished.
