According to a report, the profit is been equally divided between Salman and the production house Yash Raj Films (owner Aditya Chopra); both the firms have become filthy rich after the success of the flick.

The story revolves around the comeback of an indigenous street wrestler who decides to start MMA fighting after realizing that his wife won’t be coming to him again.
With the zeal of getting her love back, lost because he became arrogant after consecutively winning several world wrestling championships and meeting a bad news after returning home. That their son did not have enough blood to survive, and eventually, he died under 18 hours of the birth.
In-between the story, we get to experience the best-ever Salman’s Haryanvi accent and Anushka’s desi language. The process of proposing Aarfa when Sultan tries his best to speak English’s pick-up lines is definitely worth watching once.
Later on, Aarfa tells him that she would only marry a wrestler guy. That is when it finds a motive in life and decides to become a professional wrestler and win state level championship to impress Aarfa. He succeeds and marries her. Afterward, they fell into some trouble and separates due to Sultan’s arrogance issues. But, at the end, both happily unites and starts to plan a new family.
Sultan has been owning the domestic and international markets since the past two weeks. It is leaving no space for other movies to gather some eyeball and try to do even a small business. The box office is going strong even in the 2nd week.
Through, its 3rd weekend shall begin from tomorrow onwards, we are expecting to see an increase in earnings. Talking about Sultan 16th Day Box Office Collection, then it is expected to do a business around Rs 5-6 Crore domestically. The occupancy observed today was around 8-10%.
