Sultan has till now made the around 10+ records, shattering old ones. Though these records were much steadily chased and shattered by the rock solid Kabali, yet the records were high. Any normal run wouldn’t be able to make it and as far as Bollywood industry is concerned, the records still hold on.

The high figures on the board are due some of the favourable conditions as well. Firstly, the flick was the solo release at the moment, thus no distraction for the audience. Later, the release was followed by 5-day holiday round, thus providing full occupancy all times of the day.

Lastly, the flick run at the screens for almost more than two weeks was dominating. Other releases like Great Grand Masti and Madaari fainted easily. In the midst, though Kabali would have created some turbulence, but as the centricity of the audience was different, the effect was feeble.

Though the money has been flowing easily till now, but since last few days, the biz has been flattening as the days are passing, so the chase for the Rs 300 crore and later for more won’t be smooth. Also after crossing Rs 550 crore worldwide, to reach the mark of Rs 600 crore, some boost would be required, the crawling won’t help.
