The renowned Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Mossewala’s Mahindra Thar was intercepted by two cars, and around 30 bullets from three AK-94 were fired, police told The Courier Daily. Out of those 30, 20 bullets were directly aimed at Moosewala. Two other persons were injured in the incident.
Who killed Sidhu Moose Wala?
Police said that inter-gang rivalry seemed to have triggered the murder. The names of Lawrence Bishnoi gang and a Canada based gangster Goldy Brar have come into light. Reportedly, they are behind the brutal killing of famous songwriter. Satinder Singh aka Goldy Brar has taken the murder’s responsibility via a long Facebook post listing his reasons.

Mansa senior SP Gaurav Toora said that a total of 3 people were the victims of the attack. One being Sidhu Moosewala himself, second is his cousin, and third is one of his friend. The police is suspecting that the murder was a result of inter-gang rivalry. Moose Wala died before he could reach hospital. The two others survived the attack.
Per SSP, the attack could be a result of rivarly between the Lawrence Bishnoi and Lucky Patil gangs as there has been an active rivarly between the two. He reminded that Moosewala’s manager’s name had surfaced in the murder of Vicky Middukhera.
Did Goldy Brar kill Sidhu Moose Wala?
According to the Facebook post written by Goldy Brar, he and the Lawrence gang executed the murder. He also mentioned that Sidhu Moose Wala’s name had come up in Vikramjit Singh Middukhera’s murder. The post also mentioned that Mosse Wala’s name had also come up in Gurlal Brar’s murder, but the Punjab Police didn’t do anything. Per status, Muse Wala was also involved in the encounter of their associate Ankit Bhadu.
Who was Vikramjit Singh Middukhera?
Vikramjit also known as Vicky Middukhera was a Youth Akali Dal leader who was shot dead on August 7, 2021. Sidhu Moose Wala’s manager Shagunpreet Singh fled the country when it was known that he allegedly hired the Kaushal gang to murder Vicky.
Alleged Conspiracy
Sidhu Moose Wala died at the age of 28 years. He had joined the Indian National Congress in 2021 and had contested 2022 Punjab elections, but couldn’t win. The singer lost to Dr Vijay Singla of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) by a margin of 63.232 votes. He was murdered in day light in Jawaharke village in Mansa, his ancestral village. The killing happened in just 24 hours after the security of 424 VIPs was withdrawn by AAP-led Punjab government.
