Yeh Hai Mohabbatein 18th January 2016: The episode starts with students starting the protest again. They are provoked by Suraj and he motivates them to have justice and fight against Vandu. Ashok sends his men in the mob. He does so to ensure Vandu helpers don’t come in between. Ishita tries to stop them. The principal calls the police. The lady informs them that they can come in any time breaking the door. Ishita and Bala stop Suraj. Suraj pushes her. Suraj and his men get into the hall. Vandu starts shouting to take them away. Suraj takes black ink in his hand to blacken Vandu’s face. She gets horrified seeing this.

Shagun takes a broken bottle in her hand and threatens everyone not to come near Vandu. Ishita goes and hugs Vandu. Shagun says that Suraj was a fraud person and his brother has got rape and murder charges. Raman goes and starts fighting with Suraj. Meanwhile, Mihir and Bala stops the other crowd. Police arrive there and take control over the situation. They arrest Suraj and take him away. Ishita and Shagun took Vandu home.

Ishita drops Vandu home safely and Bala also comes there to take care of Vandu. Amma cries seeing what happened with Vandu. Ishita asks them to have patience and take care of Vandu as she needed their support and care.
Romi and Mihika wait for Suraj at the traffic signal. As Suraj’s car stops at the signal, they send killers. Suraj gives money and asks them to go. They said they had heard he threatened a woman today. They made him wear a garland of slippers and blackened his face. Romi clicks his photo. Suraj shocks seeing them. He angrily says he will see all of them. Romi asks him to see the photo first which he was going to post on social media. Suraj leaves from there in huge anger.
Ishita discusses to Shagun about Vandu and Sarika watches them. Mrs. Bhalla takes red chillies to take off bad sights from them. She also offers them food. Manoj and Raman come there. Manoj said he made the diet of Shagun. Amma also arrives there.
Amma thanks Shagun for saving Vandu. Amma said that she did wrong with her always. Shagun replied that Vandita was like her sister and says her to forget the things that had happened. Amma says that she had Ishita’s baby in her womb and Ishita was going to be a mother just because of her. Shagun insists her not to cry. Amma gives a hug to Ishita and Shagun.
