But this Independence day 2018 busted this myth. This movie along with John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate both have done a fabulous job in the Indian market.
This happened because of the fact that both of the flicks have a different set of audience one is sports drama and the other is a completely patriotic film. The morning occupancy went good and the advance booking made the big critics to estimate the business quickly.

This film is truly based on the event which tells the story of winning of free India for the first time in Olympic a gold medal. The speculations are that it will easily to grab Rs. 25-27 crores. It got good promotion through the patriotic songs and don’t forget the trailer both of this made it able to attract more and more audiences.
Releasing in over 2700 screens, it has got the favour of the audiences because of the loyal fan base of Akshay Kumar and Johar said that Akshay Kumar is the Manoj Kumar of today’s Bollywood industry. Khiladi Kumar is growing smooth and fast as he is the one who targets true stories and spread a moral through it.
Last year, his Toilet: Ek Prem Katha minted Rs. 134.22 crore which was also released on the day of independence. Looking at the recent productions his Padman had able to grab Rs. 81.82 crore. All of the figures are of the domestic screens.
There are some movies who performed poorly on the box office is mainly because of the fact that it is not able to stand on the expectation of the audiences which were made due to the trailer. Films like this are going smoothly because they are staying true to the image created in the minds of the people through the trailer.
