Hanna came out in 2019 and was loved by many. The show is an extended version of a movie that was released in 2011 with the same name. The show received a positive response from the audience. Shortly after the release of its first season, it was renewed for season two.
The second installment explored a different territory bringing a new perspective to light. With success the show has seen, we are hoping to see another installment. Is there a season 3 of Hanna? What will the plot be? Who will be starring? We have got the news for you.
Will there be a Hanna season 3?
As of now, Amazon Prime has not renewed the show for season three. However, we hope that the series gets to do another installment. When the first one concluded, Amazon Prime had renewed it for another chapter just two weeks later. With the second installment being concluded now, we hope to hear a piece of news anytime soon.
Although it is unclear when the show will be released, the pandemic has hampered most of the productions, and it looks like if the show gets a green light, it will begin filming in 2021. So, chances are we may not get to see the third season anytime soon.
Who will be in Hanna season 3 cast?
If season three happens, we hope to see Esme Creed-Miles as Hanna and Mirielle Enos as Marissa. We hope to see Dermot Mulroney as John Carmichael, Aine Rose Daly as Sandy Philips, Gianna Kiehl as Jules Aleen, and Cherrelle Skeete as Terri Miller.
We won’t be seeing Anthony Welsh as Leo Garner, and Yasmin Monet Prince as Clara as their journey for the series ended in segment two. However, it is unclear if there is going to be any additions to the series. We will know more if the third installment gets a green light.
What will happen in Hanna season 3? Plot
The season two ended with a possibility of one more installment. In it, we could follow Marissa on her journey of taking control of the Utrax, while going on a war against the Pioneer Group. Marissa realized that Carmichael had planned to use Utrax as a weapon for the Pioneer group.
The third installment may bring a new direction for Hanna, where she can fight for a life where she can finally be free. Esme, who plays Hanna’s role, mentioned in an interview that she would love to see Hanna return to the wilderness. She believes Hanna’s real comfort is in nature.
It may happen, we have witnessed Hanna being more content in the woods and nature. Her childhood was spent in a wilderness.
Showrunner David Farr has hinted a few things in his interview with Entertainment Weekly. He went on to say that he already has a vision for season three. There have been discussions, but nothing has been decided so far. He also hinted that it might be the last season. When you make a series, he said you have a vague idea of how long it is going to be and he has always imagined 3 acts.
Mulroney has also shown his excitement for the third installment when asked what his odds of surviving in the upcoming installment are. He said it will be exciting to see how Carmichael will do now that Marissa has taken charge of Utrax. It will be interesting to see how this will play out for Carmichael and if he will survive.

Is there any Hanna season 3 trailer?
Since the show has not been renewed yet, the trailer has not been released. Since it is uncertain when the shoot may begin, we may see a trailer towards the end of 2021 if the show gets renewed.
