History to the Thanksgiving Day:
This day the United States is annually celebrated as a holiday since 1863. This day is traced back when after harvest fail in the year 1620 half of the Pilgrims (religious refugees from England) starved to death but in 1621 when Pilgrims after a successful growing season invited native Americans to a harvest feast.However, their prime official thanksgiving was in 1623, when they gave thanks for rain that ended a drought.This time, the Thanksgiving became more than just a feast to becoming special church service.
Eventually, successful harvest was a common phenomenon that it also started being celebrated multiple times in a year. George Washington, the first president of the United States, declared the first national Thanksgiving Day in 1789.
While a similar Day is celebrated in the UK known as the Harvest Day.
