ICC Board Meeting Agenda Includes Olympic Games: ICC Board Meeting is going to be held on 4th February and will be chaired by Shashank Manohar for the first time and the agenda has been setup for the upcoming ICC Board meeting.
Cricket’s inclusion in the Olympics and the controversial constitutional amendments, which gave the executive clout and financial powers to the top three cricketing boards have found the top spot in the agenda.
ICC has released a report in which it mentioned about the upcoming ICC Board meeting and various other committee meetings which also includes the Cheif Executive’s Committee (CEC) meeting.

The schedule which has been released by the ICC mentions that the CEC meet will take up tomorrow, which will be followed with the HR and Remuneration Committee and Governance Committee on Tuesday.

The next day on Wednesday, the meeting of Finance and Commercial Affairs Committee and Executive Committee will take place and finally on Thursday, ICC board meetings will held and will be chaired by Shashank Manohar.
The structure and scheduling of bilateral cricket is also one of the key topic which will be discussed during the upcoming meet.

Back in 2014, a constitutional amendment was made which gave the executive powers to the Cricket boards of India, Australia and England and named it as “Big Three”and it faced many controversies. Even Manohar has also mentioned it that he does not agree with the consolidation of the power in just 3 member nations even when there are so many.
Also, one of the key point of the agenda is, whether cricket should be included in the Olympics and Commonwealth Games or not. This particular point has been an issue of debate from quite a time now and no strong word has come till not over it. The way in which it has reached at the top point in agenda, it seems that some strong decision is going to be taken for it.
The prize money and playing conditions for the upcoming ICC World T20 2016 will be revealed after the meeting.
Matters related to anti-doping and anti-corruption will also be discussed so that Cricket can become a more better version of itself.
The ICC Board consists of the nominated representatives of all the 10 full members and 3 elected associate member representatives.
The CEC consists of chief executives of the 10 full members and 3 associate member representatives.
