Alia Bhatt is being heavily criticized on Twitter following the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The actress consoled the deceased by posting a heartfelt tweet on her account. Netizens quickly found out the holes in her story and slammed her for being a hypocrite.
Alia Bhatt, 27-year-old, presented condolences to SSR’s family and loved ones via a tweet. The tweet read, “I’m in a deep state of shock. No matter how much I think about it, I don’t have the words. I’m totally devastated. You’ve left us too soon. You will be missed by each and every one of us. My deepest condolences to Sushant’s family, loved ones, and his fans.”

Controversy 1: The controversy dates back to 2014 when Alia Bhatt appeared on the Koffee With Karan show, hosted by Karan Johar, along with Varun Dhawan & Siddharth Malhotra for the promotion of their debut movie ‘Student Of The Year’.
During a ‘Rapid Fire’ sequence where one has to quickly answer the questions being asked by the host, Alia Bhatt was put up with a question of Kill, Marry, and Hookup. She was presented with three answers respectively; Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, and Sushant Singh Rajpoot.
Alia chose to marry Ranbir, hookup with Ranveer, and kill Sushant Singh Rajput. After which she apologized to Sushant Singh Rajput for killing him for the sake of question.
Controversy 2: During another Koffee with Karan show, Alia was again questioned to rate three celebrities on the scale of being the hottest/sexiest. KJo named Ranveer Singh, Sushant Singh Rajput, and Varun Dhawan. After hearing SSR’s name, she replied with, “Sushant Singh Rajput, WHO?”
People are accusing Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar for making fun of Sushant Singh Rajput when he had just entered the film industry, that too by all hard work despite having no previous connections in the film industry.
A few years back, she did not even know the ‘Kai Po Che’ star who had earlier starred in numerous hit TV soaps. And today, she is “totally devastated” by the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput.
Why only after someone is dead, these stars mourn their death. Why don’t they welcome the newcomers with welcoming hands and make them a part of the Bollywood fam?

Death of Sushant Singh Rajput
Sushant Singh Rajput, 34-year-old, was found hanging to a ceiling fan in his house at Bandra, Mumbai on June 14, 2020 noon. The actor reportedly killed himself due to the depression he had been facing for the past 6 months. (check: Rhea Chakraborty on Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death.)
According to TimesNowNews, Sushant also stopped his anti-depression medication a few days ago before he committed suicide.
The death reason is not confirmed yet as he left no ‘suicide note’. Police officials are calling it a homicide, we shall wait for an actual official statement from the Sushant’s managing team.
