Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 Release Date, Cast, Trailer, Anime Episodes, Spoilers, News & Updates

Mob Psycho 100 is one the best anime adaptation of any manga series. Its popularity rose much more after season 2, and fans are eagerly waiting for the updates of this mind-boggling series which has all the elements of comedy, action, and adventure.

There is an array of reasons why it is so popular among the masses. As it is said that the first impression is the last, the Original Soundtrack, and the opening song of this show has completely done justice to that line.

Nevertheless, people are also impressed with the titular character of Shigeo Kayegama who studies in middle school and is nicknamed MOB because he does not stand out among people.

Still, there is one surprise, this average school going student possesses telepathic prowess. From losing his power, he suppresses his emotional abilities. To gain control over his skills he became an assistant to con-man Arataka Reigen, a self-declared psychic (among fans he is now considered the greatest thing since sliced bread in anime).

Will, there be Mob Psycho season 3? Release date

The first installment was made from the 1100 pages of the manga. After the ending of the second installment, it was found out that there were still 800 pages left of the manga which is sufficient for the storyline of season 3, and considering that the writers will also employ their original thinking the third installment could contain 13-14 episodes without any difficulty.

There has been no development in the anime series due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

What will the plot of Mob Psycho 100 season 3?

In episode 13 of the second installment (last episode), they showed a sign on what could be the plot of season 3.

In the last episode, we saw a considerable broccoli tree originated in the middle of the city from nowhere. Reigen got a new assistant who will work under the supervision of the Mob. The plot for the upcoming installment is expected to revolve around that tree, and observing a pattern from the previous seasons, for example, in the installment one, Mob was insecure, struggling with self-esteem kind of guy, and most of his decisions were made for him by Reagan.

Still, in season 2 we saw that he came out of his mentor’s shadow and started deciding by himself, in the installment two, every episode was so exciting that every episode felt like it’s a finale episode.

So we can hope that season 3 is going to be much more exhilarating for viewers as the previous installment has sent a benchmark for the upcoming season.

Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 Characters & Cast

As of now, there is no news about the change in the cast that has been heard from the sources, Shigeo and Reigen will continue as the main characters of the show. In the season 2 finale, we saw an entry of new character Serizawa.

When will Mob Psycho 100 season 3 release? Premiere Date

As per the assumption, there is a very little chance that the show will release in 2020 as the animation studio (Bones studio) has many other projects in hand like ‘My Hero Academia season 5‘ and ‘Hero Academia‘ movie which are under production now.

So, season 3 of MobPsycho 100 is expected to be released in April 2021, and there could also be a probability that the release date could escalate further because of the corona pandemic which has halted many of the production houses.

Last but not the least, the comedy factor which was brought down by Reigen Arataka who has also gained a cult fan following.
