Myanmar Election Results 2015: The national election commission on Wednesday reported that The National League for Democracy party has won 163 of 182 seats in Myanmar’s parliamentary election. marking almost 90% of the seats for the party.
the major person to have Won the election with whom people held most hopes on is Aung San Suu Kyi, The Nobel Peace Laureate has won a seat in the country’s parliament- Pyidaungsu Hluttaw.
In an interview with the BBC’s Fergal Keane, Ms Suu Kyi said the polls were not fair but “largely free”.
She said there had been “areas of intimidation”.
