Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (PRDP) 3rd Day Collection: 1st Weekend Box Office Report: The romantic drama “PRDP” featuring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor had an outstanding first and second day on Indian box office. The Salman Khan had broken his own previous records by collecting more amount on Thursday and Friday.
“Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” starring Sonam Kapoor, steal the status of highest opening day grosser of 2015 for Bollywood Industry which in turn broke the records of “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”. The first day of PRDP ended with the business of Rs. 40.35 Cr from Hindi version only.
Directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya, “PRDP” on Friday the overseas collection was USA-Canada $405,100, UK $290,717, UAE-GCC $654,130, Aus $62,558, ROW $192,408 which made a total of around 1.6 million dollars and equal to Rs. 10.62 Cr (approx.) as per the tweet by Taran Adarsh on 13 Nov.
The trade analyst Taran Adarsh also tweeted, “After a big holiday on Thu, #PremRatanDhanPayo biz registered normal 23% drop on Fri. Expectedly, most circuits remained SUPER-STRONG…” and “#PremRatanDhanPayo Thu 40.35 cr, Fri 31.03 cr. Total: ₹ 71.38 cr. Hindi version. India biz. Should cross ₹ 100 cr today [Sat]. TERRIFIC!”.

The 23% drop for the second day was not so bad as the movie headed ahead of “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” and “Kick” which had the collection of Rs. 27.25 Cr and Rs. 26.40 Cr resp.
The flick is set to cross the Rs. 100 Cr marks at the end of Saturday i.e., there is an expectation that the movie will recover the whole budget today. The astrological stars of the makers are in the correct position as the movie is turn out to a big bumper of 2015.
