Rustom 2nd Day Collection

There is a throat cutting competition between the movies as both the movies are of different background and it will be  engrossing  to know the results.

Though the movie is getting mixed reviews from the critics but the movie is holding strong at the box office in terms of figures and getting more than 45% occupancy in single screens which are good. This reaches up to 50-60% in the north-east parts of India due to North India’s favorite superstar Akshay Kumar.

The movie got great responses in Mumbai and Bangalore with occupancy over 35%. However, the pace slows down in the south where Hrithik has bigger pullover. The excellent promotion and marketing of Rustom aided the overall collection when it comes to the initials. It has also proved the biggest opener for Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta.

  1. Rustom is a gripping film, wonderfully directed and told. Superstar Akshay Kumar is marvelous as the high ranking naval officer for whom duty comes first, who murders his wife’s lover.Everything about the movie is class…the recreated 60’s…to the star cast…the supporting cast…to the music…to the art direction…to cinematography…editing…and direction…everything is top form…This is awesome cinema…we should all be proud of…

P.S….I also think that Esha Gupta has done a good job as has everyone else…some pseudo intellectuals are very critical of her with no reason..she has played the rich bitch of the 60’s with elan and panache….
