Mohenjo Daro 2nd Day Collection, MD 1st Saturday Box Office Total 2 Days Report and Occupancy: The movie featuring Hrithik Roshan, helmed by Gowariker is set up in Indus Valley Civilisation. The movie ran into screens on 12 Aug, and the opening day has been a decent one for the flick.

On the opening day, the occupancy for the flick was around 35%, which might increase on the second day as the word of mouth spread. The movie gardened mixed reviews from the audience. With the number of screens, the flick was expected to dominate at the Box Office, but this isn’t the scenario.
The opening day of the flick clashes with Rustom, and after the first-day analysis, it is safe to say that Rustom has the lead at the end of the day. For the opening day collections of the movie is expected to be around Rs 12-14 crores*. The occupancy for the flick was lower than that of Rustom at most of the circuits.
Later on, the second day, as it is a holiday, the biz is likely to increase. The second-day collection for the flick is expected around Rs 20 crore*.
After the reviews spread for both the movies, it is for sure that Rustom is more liked by the audience. Secondly, though both the movie has certain weak spots, yet Akshay Kumar’s patriotic dish is what people seem to prefer more.

As both the flicks have a three day weekend, because of Independence Day, Rustom as a patriotic film has an edge over Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro. Also as for the first day, it was hard for the flick, the upcoming days might improve the stability of the flick.
The budget for the film is around Rs 100 crore, where for Rustom it is only Rs 60 crore. After the first day, though the official stats have not yet arrived, Rustom is much likely to stay ahead.
Though it may not be much appealing to the audience, yet the chemistry between Hrithik and Pooja Hedge is loved by the movie goers. It is a good option for the part of audience those who don’t like the courtroom drama and all, as portrayed in Rustom.
The storyline is about a boy who falls in love with a high-status girl of the town. Later to win her, he runs errands and discovers some secrets about the city and the girls. This forms the major plot of the storyline. This is Hrithik Roshan’s first flick after a period of two years on the silver screen and he hopes for his success.
