St. Louis Rapper Huey Dead: Death Cause & Reason
Lawrence Franks Jr, better known as Rapper Huey, 31, died a few moments later after getting shot by an unidentified assailant.
The shooting took place around midnight in front of 8100 Block of Martin Luther King Boulevard near Maple Avenue in Kinloch.
The St. Louis rapper was working with Jive Records music label, and initially rose to fame with his debut single Pop, Lock & Drop It in 2006.
He left behind a 13-year-old daughter.
