Now the flick is kind of crawling phase of its lifetime. The second-week run was also efficient making around Rs 48 crore at the domestic BO. It’s Week 3 Friday earnings were around Rs 2.14 crore. After that, the latter two days would have accounted for Rs 6-7 crore* biz at the BO, being a weekend.

Another reason is, “Sultan” was the only movie for release that weekend, thus avoiding any competition from other releases. All the shows on the big screens were for “Sultan”, thus pouring in money.

Now as the flick is inching closer to Rs 550 crore at the Worldwide BO, the flick is expected to take the third position in the slot of highest Worldwide BO openings in Hindi. Top of the stack is booked by Aamir Khan’s “PK”, whereas the second one is being held by “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”.
Though Sultan has not yet overtaken third place holder “Baahubali: The Beginning”, but it will soon. Trade experts are positive regarding the view that the Salman Khan’s “Sultan” will make it to the third slot on the Worldwide highest opening in Hindi stack.
Slipping into second and first positions is considered difficult, yet nothing can be presumed. Until the official stats are released, the exact figures will be awaited, but the results will loom near the predictions.
“Sultan” has gardened applause and appreciation not only at the Domestic market but also at the overseas domain. Salman and Anushka Sharma’s duo has created the magic, thus being really successful in their first flick at the Bollywood.
