Tarek Zahed Shot: In the Auburn shooting, one man, Tarek was shot dead while the other, his brother Omar is in critical condition as he was shot multiple times. The incident occurred outside Auburn’s Bodyfit Fitness Center / gym in Sydney’s west at about 8 pm on Tuesday.
According to TheReporterTimes, Comanchero bikie boss Zahed was shot multiple times in the stomach, hands, and legs. He was last reported fighting for his life while his brother Omar died at the scene. After being shot multiple times, he went into cardiac arrest. Tarek is known as Balenciaga Bikie.
According to NSW Ambulance, the man who survived the shooting got ten gunshot wounds on his body. However, it’s not official out of the two who have died. NSW Ambulance Inspector Kevin McSweeney continued to say that both the patients had suffered significant blood loss when they arrived.
Sweeney said that despite best efforts made by Paramedics, one died at the scene. The second patient was hit with a minimum of 10 bullets and was unconscious and breathing when he was taken to the hospital. It was a horrific scene that unfolded in front of many people. The general public remained fortunate that no one got hurt.
However, it appeared that one person among the witnesses was hurt in the gangland shootings. NSW Labor police spokesperson commented on the same. He said that gangsters don’t care if any innocent human being gets hurt during their crossfire. They carry out attacks without caring about anyone.
Besides the shooting, two cars were found entirely burnt on the same night. They were seen burning in the southwest Sydney suburbs of Berala and Greenacre. It is not unknown if they are also linked to the shootings.
The shootings on Tuesday night happened after the bikkie group former president Mahmoud Brownie Ahmad was shot dead in April 2022. The 39-year-old underworld crime figure had a bounty of $1 million on his head. He was killed just after leaving the home of one of his associates at 9:30 pm at Greenacre.

After gunning Ahmad down, the police department stepped up to stop such activities. Following the operation, Tarek Zahed was arrested earlier in May 2022 and charged with violating a grave crime prevention order twice. Per court order, he had to appear on June 22 later this year.
Following the shootings in Auburn, the police have stepped up the investigations and put up the diversions at Parramatta Road. The department has asked the public to avoid the area. The local police are working hand in hand with the State Crime Command’s Raptor and Criminal Groups Squads.
