‘The Vampire Diaries Season 9’ Release Date
Earlier, in 2017, it is said that the whole story is wrapped up into 8 installments. Now, all over the web, there is news for season 9. But the reality is, there in no official announcement from the creators.
This is just fan made rumor, the rumor also stating that it will release in March 2021 on The CW. It is also saying that this time, it will have in total 22 episodes.
Along with this, they also revealed that Ian Somerhalder has declined the offer to play the role of Damon Salvator. Meanwhile, Nina Dobrev also refused to work in the show as Elena Gilbert.

Julie Plec, the producer of the series has confirmed that they haven’t started anything in the name of season 9 of this series. Now, that’s the official confirmation that we are not getting another installment.
