Directed by Kabir Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar, the sequel has Katrina Kaif as the lead female role once again. When these two stars unite for a movie then it will going to be a super hit. The screen count of the flick is 5700 worldwide which consist of 4600 domestic screens.

After Tubelight, this movie is the one for which the fans are eager to watch. Trade analyst Girish Johar tweeted, “After a long lull at the box office, this is one of the biggest films of the year. The audience has been keen to watch the film. The trailer, action sequences and songs were breathtaking and garnered a lot of views. I feel that despite being a non-holiday, Tiger Zinda Hai should have at least Rs 35 crore start on its first day. Since it is a Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer, I wouldn’t be very surprised if the film crosses the Rs 100 crore mark by the end of the first weekend.”
Across the country, most of the theaters are housefull one day before the release. The flick becomes at the top in advance booking of the year. It doesn’t have any competition in the market and it may surpass the opening day business of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2.
As we know that the advance booking for this film has surpassed the year’s record. So, the occupancy is of course high for the morning shows and even the whole day. It is expected to break some previous records or even create new ones.
The movie made fantastic business in the domestic market with a collection of Rs. 34.10 Cr.
