The K-POP star and a member of the TVXQ band Sim Chang-min, better known by his stage him MAX Changmin, is getting married in the coming September this year, according to the statement of SM Entertainment relayed on June 12.
The nation’s largest entertainment company, SM Entertainment, revealed the news of Changmin’s marriage, wishing the two of them all the best for their marriage on September 5.
The company refused to disclose any information regarding the time and place of the marriage citing “fiancee, who is a non-celebrity, we will keep the wedding details private”. A statement said, “We ask for the fans’ and the news reporters’ understanding”.
The entertainment agency confirmed that Changmin will stay part of its organization and a TVXQ band member. They wrote:-
“MAX Changmin will be getting married to his current girlfriend on September 5.
Changmin will continue to promote as a member of TVXQ and an artist of our agency without change. Please send your congratulations toward Changmin, awaiting a new beginning in his life. Thank you.”
The Korean star published a handwritten letter on his social media profile to announce the marriage which will take place in September. He talked about the time spent with the TVXQ band and about the relationship with a non-celebrity girlfriend from December 2019. Read the letter below.

Changmin, 31-year-old, is a famous South Korean K-Pop star, he is also known by “donation angel”, as he continuously makes efforts to donate to the underprivileged. He is an avid donator to Green Umbrella Children’s Foundations which supports national disaster sufferers.
SM Entertainment signed Changmin when he was 14 years old, the youngest member in TVXQ in 2003. MAX has worked with the band for 17 years now and produced numerous hits like “Rising Sun” and “Mirotic”.
