Don’t we all love ourselves a good show filled with charm and wit? If you have seen The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, then you know what I am talking about. Who would’ve thought that this show was going to become a remarkable show for the 3.2 million viewers?
When season three came out, people binge-watched the show and finished it. It has also received 16 Emmy awards and some Golden Globes as well. We were left with a cliffhanger when the third installment concluded and everyone wanted to know if the show was coming back with a new installment. However, the good news is that Amazon Prime Video has renewed the show for season four.
Who is in The Marvelous Mrs Maisel season 4? Cast
Rachel Brosnahan will be reprising her role as Miriam “Midge” Maisel. When the show was renewed, it was announced that there will be a continuation of Midge in season four as well. Although there is no news on the supporting cast.
The way the third installment ended, we can still expect some of the familiar faces back in season four. We can expect to see Michael Zegen as Joel Maisel, Alex Borstein as Susie Myerson, Marin Hinkle as Rose Weissman and Tony Shalhoub as Abe Weissman. However, we will have to wait for any confirmation of the same.
We may see some new characters as well. Over the period of season three, we have seen some new characters coming into the show. The creators have done an amazing job of bringing new characters based on real-life performers. We have seen Lenny Bruce’s version in the show play an important role in Midge’s life.
So, there is also a possibility of new characters coming into the show.

The Marvelous Mrs Maisel Season 4 Plot
The installment three ended with Midge being kicked out of Shy Baldwin’s show. Susie also ended up handing Midge’s finance to Joel and finds a way to pay Midge back for the losses. While Joel took over his ex-wife’s finance. He also starts a comedy club that gets a rocky start. Rose and Abe finally got their own story arc. They both find their own callings of life.
As of now, no official synopsis has been released. Although the way season three ended, there are some guesses that we can make. We may see Midge starting from square one since she has been kicked out of the show. It may also focus on her picking herself up from the mess she has fallen into.
Since the show is moving into the 1960s, we may see our characters getting ready for the change ahead of the Cultural Revolution of the mid to late 1960s. Brosnahan mentioned in an interview that the cast doesn’t know what is going to happen with their character as the producers keep everyone on the edge of their seats.

As of now, production has not been completed. We may see the trailer in a few months after the show is released. In season one and three there were eight episodes and in season two there were ten episodes. So, the show may consist of a similar number of episodes. However, it has not been announced either. The run time of the show is between 43 mins to 73 minutes. So, it may be around the same number.
When is The Marvelous Mrs Maisel season 4 release date? Premiere
The production for the show was supposed to begin in late spring. If the production doesn’t delay then the chances of the show coming out in this year itself will be high. However, no specific release date has been announced yet. We have seen it with previous seasons that the show comes out in either late November or early December. So, it is still likely that the show will come out in December or November 2020.
The first installment arrived in March 2017. But, the second and the third seasons premiered in the first week of December 2018 and 2019 respectively.
